Aaron Sheldon
“My work focuses on the impact of time on the world around us and I’m always looking for unique ways to share how I see the world.
I’m a photographer focusing on documentary/street, editorial, architecture, and digital infrared capture. My style includes everything from freezing 1/5000 of a second to taking exposures of an hour or more to the show impact of time on his subject. My images come from a craftsman's understanding and connection to his tools, a firm grasp and appreciation of the science of light, and a lifetime of studying my environment.
Aaron's photography has been published internationally in print, online, and by broadcast media outlets, including Instagram, CNN, USA Today, The Columbus Dispatch, Vogue Italy, O (The Oprah Magazine), PetaPixel, Fatherly, My Modern Met, Huffington Post, and many others. His work has been featured by brands including TARGET, Hampton Inn & Suites, OSMO, and Public Radio International (This American Life). In addition, he has been featured in solo gallery shows in Columbus, Ohio, and Washington, DC.
