“I’m a Mixed Media Artist inspired by the colors, shapes and patterns of the 50’s through the 70’s. By Mixed Media, I simply mean that I use more than just paint in my pieces. In college, I studied printmaking, design, and art history as well as painting and drawing so in addition to paint you’ll see handmade paper, skins and collage elements as well as pencil, oil stick and texture pastes and gels. I enjoy experimenting with texture, composition and color and I love my job- it gives me those good brain chemicals. I work and live in Ohio between two studios and teach all over the country as an Artist Educator for GOLDEN Paints. My strengths are discipline, focus and a profound sense of humor.”
