“Inspired by my upbringing in the North and several years in the tropical South, my artwork delves into the breadth of nature. From icy snowscapes to shining seasides, there's a profound, understated power in the expanse of the natural world that draws me in. Guided solely by my memories and emotions, my paintings reflect the ever-evolving essence of nature, with its power at the core of my inspiration.
With acrylics as my medium, I use tape to delineate sharp lines across large canvases, crafting abstract vistas of land and sea. These meticulously layered and intertwined lines construct a complex interplay of forms. Utilizing a select palette, I capture the essence of various scenes conceived solely within my mind, offering an interpretive depiction of the landscapes that reside within me.”
